About the Festival

The Cameo Cinema is proud to announce the inaugural year of the Napa Valley FORK2FILM Festival. Originally conceived in 2023 as a curated series celebrating the worlds of food, wine and farming, FORK2FILM was so successful we transformed it into a festival. The eight to ten films selected will be among the best films in these categories worldwide. They will be screened along with classics, award winners and standouts from the recent past, exclusively at the Cameo Cinema in the heart of Napa Valley. We will also feature lively filmmaker discussions, themed and curated events, and access to the extraordinary natural beauty of one the world’s premier regions for food, wine and agriculture— 60 miles from the Golden Gate Bridge.

Founded in 1913, St. Helena’s Cameo Cinema is one of California's oldest continuously operated single-screen movie theaters. Committed to fostering an appreciation for cinema’s cultural heritage and producing exemplary theatrical experiences, the Cameo brings international, independent, and critically acclaimed films and filmmakers to Napa Valley.

CHILDREN OF THE VINE

Having “Children Of The Vine” participate at the Fork2Film festival in this gorgeous historic theater, with a sold-out audience and a panel discussion that spilled out into the lobby, was a fantastic experience. I'll definitely be back to the Cameo CInema for Fork2Film in 2024.

SOMM, THE WHOLE ANIMAL

Our audience for “The Whole Animal” appreciated film and the culinary world’s complexities like no place I have ever shown my work. We won the James Beard Award shortly after and I have no doubts this event helped put my film at that level. Looking forward to screening my new films at the theater next year.

THE AMPHORA PROJECT: PAST FORWARD

The Cameo Cinema, an historic theater with a small town feel and state-of-the-art sound and projection, packed a ‘full house’ punch with its exceptional marketing of not only the ‘Fork2Film series’ but also supported the individual filmmakers and their entries.

ABOUT THE NAPA VALLEY

St. Helena, California

The Napa Valley is well-regarded as one of the top wine regions in the world and is home to Northern California's legendary Silverado Wine Trail. Nestled in the heart of the Valley, St. Helena blends its slower pace and small-town feel with a modern sensibility - where film, music and the performing arts pair brilliantly with the famed wine and culinary traditions of California’s Wine Country.
